Van Halen?

anyone a very big Van Halen fan?? as for me they are one of my favorite bands and I liked them the most with Hagar. But as long as they have eddie(the greatest guitar player ever) I'll love em.

van halen's cool for mindless stupid fun. but why bring them up in a floyd forum?

But I do agree with you, Van Halen is a good band. Not even close to being as great as Pink Floyd.

Wait, I shouldn't even compare the two. Floyd is on a way higher level than Van Halen.

007 I won't lecture but to claim that eddie is the greatest guitar player ever in a forum dedicated to a band whose guitarist is one David Gilmour, it seems you're asking for some unfavorable replies.
I don't have the knowledge of guitar palying to say who is better but as a listener i find Dave's style much more appealing than eddie's thank you.

I just wanted to know if any of you liked van halen you don't have to all touchy.

This IS a Floyd forum man, and we're all fairly dedicated to it, so unfortunately, Van Halen isn't really fitting, topically.
