But I do agree with you, Van Halen is a good band. Not even close to being as great as Pink Floyd.

007 I won't lecture but to claim that eddie is the greatest guitar player ever in a forum dedicated to a band whose guitarist is one David Gilmour, it seems you're asking for some unfavorable replies.
I don't have the knowledge of guitar palying to say who is better but as a listener i find Dave's style much more appealing than eddie's thank you.

This IS a Floyd forum man, and we're all fairly dedicated to it, so unfortunately, Van Halen isn't really fitting, topically.

Thanks for the input anyway- I look forward to hearing more of your opinions.

Probably should have been a bit more sensitive but I am a bit confused that I get "moderated" for this, but elsewhere people openly talk about using illicit substances. Double standards ???
