I know there are a few of us who dig them, so...


Deckchairs and Cigarettes is great as is Big Sur.

Actually, I haven't heard a song I didn't dig yet.

I hate hate hate the Thrills.

Their album is ok but I don't think they're as good as everyone hypes them up to be. There are a couple of great songs on the cd though.

Around here they're 'just another emo band'.

Emo? Isn't he that weird American "comedian" with the strange voice and stranger hair?

Emo is short for 'emotional'. Basically, music that is sad and does nothing but complain about the loss of a girlfriend/boyfriend. There's also a certain style of dress that goes with it.

why 'emo'? why not just say emotional. Imagine if Vinny Jones had done that in lockstock.
