| Pigs (Three Different Ones) I just wanted to profess my love for this song. Has anyone played this with a band? I imagine it would be a great song to perform. I love the talkboxing. Anyone have one of those? I want to try one so bad.

| Re: Pigs (Three Different Ones) I have performed the entirety of Animals with my band in the past. Pigs (3DO) is a wonderful song to perform... The "talk box" effect is fun. Danelectro is makeing a very affordable unit these days. I don't know how well it would do in a live performance, but it's been real fun to play with at the guitar shop.. And Yeah..What's with the whale thingy????

| Re: Pigs (Three Different Ones) I absolutely LOVE the Animals album; it's my favourite Floyd record. Pigs (3DO) would have to be my favourite song on the album. I'm a bass player so I haven't tried to do any of the talkbox stuff in the middle. Although, I know all of the bass for the song, including the little intro lead riff at the start and in the middle. As for the guitar, I only know the verses and the rhythm guitar for the breakdown in the middle. I also find it coincidental that Animals has one of the very few Floyd songs that includes a talkbox. And let's think of when this was recorded. 1976. Hmmm...  I'm wondering if Gilmour got the idea to employ the talkbox, from... somebody else... ???

When I'm alone in my car I like to try to sound like it  Anyway, the nuke a gay whale thing is just something I got from a button. Its against nukes, homophobes, and doing bad things because it says to in the Bible, its also against whaling. So much protest in just a few words. I love it. But not more than I love Animals.
