Something I noticed on Pompeii...

Hell they might even have filmed it on old cameras, though more likely it's just digitally filtered to look old.

And on a related note, I enjoyed the Director's Cut a lot, but for the parts where animations were set to the music. All the extra in between footage was nice, especially extended interviews and so on. And poor old Rick managing to say more than that one line (the one about being slaves to the equipment and trying to sort it all out).

I think this DVD is an insult. Stupid adrian Maben should have stuck to the old footage and the B/W interviews..... The animations are so bad that when people see the DVD I HAVE to tell the that Pink Floyd has nothing to do with them......Even the menu in the DVD is terrible, those crappy bubbles, and the extras are pathetic excuses t make a DVD SHEEz I actually cannot even watch the new DVD. I watch the old movie and only watch the directors cut for the interviews.

How come PINK FLOYD cannot do something about this piece of trash?

I like all the interviews and studio footage. But all that shit with the naked people on the walls, is that new? Because I don't like all that. I watched the original film, it flowed a lot better.

The director's cut is a load of shite. Execrable.

The DVD is blessed for including the Original Concert Film with somewhat cleaner sound and picture than before. Everything else you can safely ignore.
