Sure, there is always humour in tragedy but it may yet be too soon for 9/11 jokes. Just FYI, I count myself amongst the former: I believe I have a sense of humour.

So, if GW jumped off the nearest cliff - if prayers are really answered - you would jump off the cliff as well?

Only my opinion, so post and be damned...if you're brave and/or foolish enough.

Thanks, but I want it universally known that I do not exert any undue pressure upon you, larry. You CAN, you are free to post the originals and then we'll see what we see. But you did ask for opinions.

Floyd hard!

Hey, larry, PM it to me.

Oh, the "family members" of the 9-11 victims who were so "outraged" to GW's ads were RAT activists who were sought out beforehand and given "talking points" to complain about when the inevitable ad's appeared. That whole thing was financed by ketchup-boy's wife's money, BTW.

My point is, just as many people who had family members who were victims approved GW's ads. But you'd never know from the press who dutifully carries water for the RATs.

when i created this thread i was just making a reflection on how an event can change everything in your life. but creative people on this site took it on a very different way. and that's the beauty of the thing. so, larry if you want to go on with your original idea with the patgod, go ahead man that's surely not a problem for me.

Let me once again say that this is one of the few "off topic" rambling threads that I have (and suerly many others) enjoyed.

Hi, I'm a new member, my name is cary I'm in florida. I agree with the premise of the original post, but I also like following "the morphing of the thread", or "let's see where this takes us" it's really quite fun to follow this stuff. A note on the original post, god makes us suffer for reasons we can't figure out, due to the fact we don't have the whole picture, so what may appear to be wrong or bad, may in fact, from god's point of view, be good and the right or only thing to do. Think of all the great works in art music or whatever, that came out of good ole suffering. I say good ole now, because alot of my suffering ended in me pickin my butt up from the depths, and learning and growing, maybe it's as simple as this, you have to sweat and toil for your garden to grow well, and xx% of what we do, to get what we want, we have to toil over, so it's all good, my uncle died at guadicanal in wwII and my dad died in '63 from his south pacific wwII duties. I used to be bitter, especially when they wouldn't hire me at GM cause I'm white! But I got over it and the process of doing so taught me things I'm still discovering to this day! Life is indeed good. I gotta go, the wife's calling.
