Yes, i've heard of them. I'm not so crazy about them though. Not essential prog-rock, in my view.

Re: Most Underrated Bands

They have a very strange name cause Van Der Graaf is a dutch last name like Van Halen Van Helsing or Van Der Beek.

Re: Most Underrated Bands

CHUCK BERRY-yeah he gets attention from the rock community, but in mainstream music he gets overshadowed by elvis, which is very unfair. This man gave us rock and roll, without him there would be no beatles, stones, who, floyd, beach boys or any other sixties group for that matter. Give the man some well deserved respect!!!!

Re: Most Underrated Bands

Triumvirat.....everyone says they're the European rip off of ELP, but they rock in their own right, a little more dramatic than ELP, but not as harmonically complex, but worth checking out, especially Illusions on a Double Dimple.

Throbbing Gristle is also good if you want to hear original and real Industrial music, instead of whatever Nine Inch Nails is trying to slop together.

Re: Most Underrated Bands

Essential industrial is stuff like Skinny Puppy's 'Rabies', Pigface's 'Notes from Thee Underground', and, sorry, NIN's 'Broken'. That's pretty hardcore.
