Indeed, Happy Birthday, big Dave - may there be many more to come (each of them celebrated with a Floyd tour, hopefully...). Christ, the guy's nearly 60...

Also on this day, in 1825, Beethoven's Opus 127: String Quartet No. 12 in E flat major was first performed.
