Remember When You Were Young

when we were young we all said or did funny stuffs. don't be shy to tell what is the most innocent thing you said or did.

since all the old photos and movies are black and white
when i was young i thougt the world was all black and white.
i felt sorry for the people who lived way back then.

when i was about 5 or 6 years old i found one of my mom's bra in the washroom
i took it and rushed in the kitchen telling my mom that she forgot her breasts
in the washroom. from time to time, more than 30 years later, my mom still talks about it...

I threw darts into my father's massive oil painting that he'd bought at an auction.

I also pushed someone down a flight of stairs and knocked them out.

I threw a ripe pear at my brother's head. He ducked, and it went right through a window.

In kindergarten I ate a bunch of glue. Didn't feel too good after that...

I've done that, to a paiting that my father bought from a friend that was undergoing a major depressive episode, after his divorce. My father insisted in hanging the painting on our house long after his friend had recovered, and we were still suffering from the effects of his depression by looking at it every day. The paiting was so ugly that my brother and I finally used it as target for our bb guns. Pretty fun, I must say.

Re: Remember When You Were Young

I've stolen those glow in the dark elevator fire emergency signs.

Okay, I've actually done that since I turned 20.
But I've reformed, and don't steal them any more.
Although yesterday my boyfriend stole one for me
Some girls get candy or flowers...

I've also glued people's lockers shut, come to class drunk, and (in my extreme youth) given the finger to many a surveillence camera.

Re: Remember When You Were Young

My Aunt was one of the people who wanted me to be very proficient in english. She once told me to write 10 lines on "Father" when I was in 2nd grade.

I distinctly remember them laughing when they read out the fourth line I had writen:

"My father is the driver of the family"

To my mind, it seemed like his job, since I had only seen him drive My relatives still tease me about that.

When I was about 7 years old, I also once got so enthusiastic in 'fork fighting' with my cousin at dinner, that I jabbed the fork at her forehead... and to my absolute horror, it stuck there! Luckily, it was only a flesh wound. My cousin still carries the scars till this day and I get teased about it whenever we sit down for a meal...

When I was 5 or 6, I was left alone in the front seat of my uncle's car. It had vinyl covered bench seats. I took the cigarette lighter and made a cool pattern of little, melted holes all over the seat.

Re: Remember When You Were Young

I honestly don't remember anything.. cept for the chicken incident. I wanted to play with a chicken on my grandparents' farm and my grandma brought me one.. I held it really tight and it started scratching but I kept holding on tighter and swearing at it ( I was 4) and my grandma thought it was the funniest thing ever

cheers

Re: Remember When You Were Young

I locked myself in my fathers car, when I was 6. We had arrived home and I wanted to go for a longer drive. He did not! I refused to get out of the car and he left me there. I'm assuming that he thought when I got tired of waiting I'd get out o the car and come into the house. He went inside and promptly fell asleep. I did get tired of waiting in the car when it was clear a longer drive was NOT in the cards. I tried and tried to open the car door, but at a 6, I couldn't (didn't have the strength) to get the door open. I was left in the car all night. I still ask myself why I didn't honk the horn?!
My father was horrified to find me still in the car when he was leaving for work the next day.
