Question Headphones?

Hey, just wondering what kinda headphones you guys use, or prefer. Personally, I prefer earbud-style phones because they are small and easy to carry around.

Tell us which kind you prefer...what kind you have/use regularly. My main motive behind starting this thread is to search out some quality headphones (the ones I have now are dying).

Re: Headphones?

I own the standard, but I really don't like them that much. I like the stereo kind that covers the whole ear. It blocks out all outside noise so all I can hear is the music.

Re: Headphones?

I don't use headphones that much. But when I do I use the standard ones that came with my portable CD player. I really like the huge ones though, like FloydPhreak said.

Re: Headphones?

I use huge ones that cover everything. In the ear headphones are terrible things - give me ear ache.

In fact, the sound quality is so good in mine that I use them in the house in the sound system rather than letting the useless speakers deal with the sound.

Re: Headphones?

For around the house I have a standard pair, the kind that cover the entire ear. Sound quality is excellent and they are great when I want to listen to the stereo and the famliy wants to watch TV.

I have a set of earbuds with clips for my mp3 player. They are really tiny and fit well under my ski helmet and cycling helmet as well. The sound quality is OK, but at least I can have tunes while I'm out enjoying the outdoors.

Re: Headphones?

I've got a pair of those really big ears that stick out at an atrocious angle from my head, although I can get Sky when the weather's good.

So, 'earbuds', then.

Re: Headphones?

But I must confess that I've never tried sticking them under my helmet.

Re: Headphones?

I use the earbud ones myself, and I use them quite extensively commuting to and from college everyday. I used to have a really sweet pair of buds, they sound they generated was awesome, unfortunaterly the wire gave out.

Re: Headphones?

Those clip on ear-things hurt. They should seriously re-call them, I just use what came with my CD player now.

Re: Headphones?

I voted for "Stereo/covers entire ears" cause I want to hear only the music!
