Actually not necessarily. You can like Pink Floyd's music better than another band's and still think that their guitarist is better.

true, but the point is that more will probably pick him out of all those because he is the best and because this site is dedicated to the band that that guitarist is in. Look at the results already duder.

Gilmour is an amazing guitarist, and most definitaly the best out of those listed. I don't know about him being the best ever, but he's probably my favourite.
