| discovered Atom Heart Mother tonight alright man so I was writing this paper all day and when I got done with it, I wanted nothing more than to get ripped and listen to some Floyd. Rewind to last xmas, my girlfriend got me like all the rest of the floyd albums I needed to complete my basic collection, and AHM was included. Flashback to tonight, I had never listened to it before, so I put it on and lit this ball bat of a joint I had rolled. I remember jamming along with it in my head for awhile, then all of a sudden it was like the most beautiful music I'd ever heard. The part where the woman and the choirs start singing, my gf said it sounded like the sound you'd hear on your way to heaven through space. It was amazing. Then it just went into Funky Dung in such a quick but sly manner, displaying what I believe to be the Floyd at their funkiest. Funky music and funky bud go together like nothing else son. Then all the backwords speaking, whew. The other songs on the album kind of reminded me of a Wildflower-era Tom Petty and like Jack Johnson. Sorry this one went a bit long but I'm just really excited to have discovered some Floyd tonight man!

| Re: discovered Atom Heart Mother tonight sweet dude! sounds like an experience I went through many years ago, but with the same result. Atom Heart Mother is great! Interesting fact I found out a few weeks ago. AHM has sold over 5 million copies in the US, that's more than Animals!
