Syd on "shine on"

I heard that he actually popped into the studio when they were recording it, and listened to that song. so that laughter you hear after the first few lines, do you guys think thats him? It sounds a lot like him. It might be. Just curios.

It isnt. But he was there, and it wasnt fun for the rest of the pf. He was mad as hell, jumping up and down scratching his head and so on.

Yeah, and they were all pretty freaked out about it. Because the album was pretty much about him.

I think I remember reading somewhere that he had a toothbrush with him...not sure if it's true though.

I also read in somewhere....that he (syd) said "Put a Sax in that record and you will be bigger than the beatles"... I don´t really know if´s right....

Oh, and they have this one logo that looks just like the one from pfco that they freaked out about!

That's right!!Something that many people don't know is,Barrett had always in his mind a song like "Shine on.."!!For this reason,Syd-Era Floyd playing Interstellar Overdrive for 18+.. minutes!!For this reason screaming all together"SHINE ON"..Because,at that time,Barrett's dream came true!At that time,Syd's re-born is a fact.And for this reason I can't hear PF fans saying Barrett wasn't nothing at all for the group!Syd's "ghost" was floating over their heads..until "WYWH" album.And this is the "magic" of their music..
