I have loads of shows. The Montreal show is one of them and the spitting comes after the firecrackers incident.

I forget where I read it but Waters said that the audience were busy trying to kill themselves that night. If you listen to the entire show, he keeps trying to encourage a**Holes to quiet down and he said "Look. Don't worry about it. I don't. Well I DO but I wish I didn't."
And as the show goes on, the audience are increasingly loudly shouting SIT DOWN in french because of the aforementioned bum-holes at the front.

And after Us And Them, the last number, Roger says that we all need to calm down so "we're just going to play some music to go home to.... We're not known as a blues band but we're going to play a slow blues so we can calm down a bit" and they just play a slow 12 bar jam (without Gilmour, who liked to leave the stage and head back to the sound desk in order to see what the show looked like) with Snowy White doing the blues guitar, and it ends in a chorus of shouting and the odd BOOOO as the equipment is dismantled while Nick and Rog finish playing on their own.
