"()" it's a good album too, but, as Mark said, "Ágaetis Byrjun" is the best album.

I've just read that its english translation is "death announcements and funerals" which is probably why it doesn't sound happy!

Re: Sigur Ros?

I actually just found out about Sigur Ros about a month ago from a friend, and I almost immediatly became very intrested in their music. Haha, I downloaded so many songs by them in the first day, but I think my fav is Njosnavelin (Nothing Song). It's absolutely brilliant.

If you're going to see this band live I recommend you to take a person with you that you feel free to hug

Re: sigur rós?

I've been listening to this band ALOT lately. Their music is so peaceful. Unfortunately, I only have 3 of their albums. Everyone on this thread seems to say that the second album is the best. I will probably end up buying all of their albums eventually so I might save the second one for last as a nice suprise for myself

I would rate the following albums I own from best to worst as:
Takk...
Með Suð Í Eyrum Við Spilum Endalaust
