sigur rós?

Did anyone actually go and buy "Agaetis Byrjun" off the back of the recommendationI posted a few weeks back?

If so- what did you think?

I'm currently stuck on track 4,Flugufrelsarinn. I simply CANNOT hear this enough!!!!

Genuinely- You all need this album (even more so if you feel the need to expound on "Van Halen".)

Get it now!

Buy it now!

Now!

Re: sigur rós?

Actually, one would be truly sad indeed if Pink Floyd was the ONLY thing one listened to.

Cut fixxy some slack, dude.

Re: sigur rós?

Not that I think it should be the only thing we listen to, but, you know, it strikes me as odd to post a buncha stuff about other bands on a Floyd board. Just a thought.

This IS a Floyd forum man, and we're all fairly dedicated to it, so unfortunately, Van Halen isn't really fitting, topically.

Re: sigur rós?

Actually, this is a perfect place to post things about bands other than Floyd. Even though I haven't gotten it yet, I am grateful that fixx enlightened us with a tune that we all might enjoy.

Re: sigur rós?

And to labour the point just a tad more, especially since we cannot look forward to any TRULY new stuff from our topical band.

We are doomed to go over and over the same subjects regarding past Floyd efforts:

Who's true Floyd? Who's not?
Who's the REAL Leader/Artist/Genius? Who's not?
Which disparate group should be entitled the use of the Pink Floyd name? Which shouldn't?

Now THAT gets old altogether too quickly for words.

Floyd on!
Byron
