Okay! I think I may have an answer.

Someone has a tape (ROIO) of an entire concert which took place in 1969. Apparently, that's where some of these unidentified songs are from.

04.14.1969 < Royal Festival Hall, South Bank, London UK >

"THE MAN"
DAYBREAK / WORK / AFTERNOON / DOING IT / SLEEP / NIGHTMARE / DAYBREAK PART 2
"THE JOURNEY" / THE BEGINNING / BESET BY THE CREATURES OF THE DEEP / THE NARROW WAY PART3 / THE PINK JUNGLE / THE LABYRINTHS OF AUXIMENES / BEHOLD THE TEMPLE OF LIGHT / THE END OF THE BEGINNING

Can anyone verify this concert? Apparently the person in question is willing to trade the tape for something, just for anyone interested. The original URL is:

http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~cm3k-iit...st_2000_pr.htm

English is definitely not this person's first language, but he's got lots of ROIOs available with songs I never even heard of...and that's very odd.

i don't know if this helps but i know that "the labyrinth of auximenes" and "behold the temple of light" were songs for a concept pink floyd had called the man and the journey. i have an RoIO of one of these concerts from amsterdam in '69 and i'm certain that it is pink floyd doing these songs.

Who provided the amusingly stoned laughter on DSOTM? And what was his occupation?

Cheers,

Mark

I think I may have the occupation, but not the name.

He was a roadie.

All right, here's the question. It's a match-up question. These are the first five singles the Floyd released. Match each one to its B-side.

1. Arnold Layne
2. See Emily Play
3. Apples and Oranges
4. It Would Be So Nice
5. Point Me at the Sky

a. Candy and a Currant Bun
b. Careful with that Axe, Eugene
c. Julia Dream
d. Paintbox
e. Scarecrow

This could end up being a difficult one...heh.

I've got a question that I honestly don't know the answer to. How did the name of the bootleg "Azimuth Coordinator" come about, and what is it supposed to mean?

I've got a guess, but like I said, I really don't know!

OK. Here's the question.

On Kate Bush's "The Kick Inside", what two tracks did David Gilmour executively produce?

And, I believe that azimuth coordinator was a sound system that Pink Floyd used in the 60s.

Really? So is "Azimuth Coordinator" a brand name or product name?

Byron

No one seems to have got the answer to the Kate Bush question, but I'd like to know which the track were.

Thanks
