Bride, unfortunately, I can't check this forum several times a day, so I'm sorry if you're forced to wait a while to hear my answers. I know how you're all hanging on my every word...

Yes Pink Pig, you are correct. Ask away.

Radiochair,

To be fair to all of us who are avidly hanging on your every word (tehehe) I think it would be best if you could arrange or develop a system whereby you ARE able to check these boards several times a day.

You owe it to yourself, really.

Ok- I thought I'd post this for the hell of it-

What was the name of the doorman at Abbey Road Studios during the period that Dark side of the moon was recorded?

Cripes, fixxy,

That has so far got to be the most tenuous of links for a trivia question on PF ... ever.

But it's one not to be answered too quickly, I hope. Not that it was your turn anyway, but what the hell.

Floyd on!
Byron

Was it Roger the Hat? Or was that the name of the Roadie who they interviewed. Either way, the question isn't all that far off, the doorman is the one who says "There is no dark side of the moon really, matter of fact its all dark."

Damn it, I can't find it. Everything seems to just say "The Irish doorman at Abbey Road". Even the echoes faq doesn't have his name, which is odd, because they have everything else about floyd.

-Hob

PS - I finally found it! Jerry Driscoll. There, that only took 30 minutes of searching. Jeez, if something doesn't want to be found online, it really doens't want to be found.

Oh come on!

You just made that name up, didn't you? Admit it. (j/k)

At least give us the link or location of where you SAY you found the information.

Sceptical of Islington,
Byron

I found the info at the discography at www.pinkfloyd-co.com.

Turst me, if I wanted to make up a name, would it really have taken so long?
