This was also on the Joker's Wild 1965 EP.

Good guess, Shane, but that's not it. Jokers Wild obviously borrowed a LOT of stuff from The Four Seasons catalog. The song I'm talking about has more of a silly nature. (well, true, all of 4-S stuff was silly--but this even more so)

If anyone scans thru the Four Seasons discography on something like "Allmusic" or whatever, the title will jump out at you when you see it.
