I'm going to have to disagree. The bicycle does resemble the bike used in Wizard of Oz but there is no indication that that is what it is. Rather the elements in the eye represent the various song and album titles of Floyd. Notice that there is also some bells as well as gears (gears=works like in clockworks) what do they have to do with Wizard of Oz?

Where did you get your information?

And the Answer to fixxlevy's question is:
THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS.

Ok- seems like there's no takers on this one. I'll give you a clue- it's about a comment that Roger made to Syd regarding Intersteller Overdrive.

Anyone...?

Holding my breath,

Mark

I'm thinking but the answer's just not coming. Obviously something to do with Steptoe but I just can't get it !

How about another clue....?

Cheers

Yes. Think about the beginning...

And the end...

What might they have in common with Syd Barret, main songwriter (at that point) of Pink Floyd?

Come on guys, help me out here.

For those who don't know, Steptoe & Son was a comedy series in the UK (60's/70's) about a father and son who ran a scrap yard. Harry H Corbet played the son, Wilfred Bramble played the father.

I just can't see the connection between this TV programme and Interstella Overdrive....

Roger's comment to Syd was that "Intersteller Overdrive" sounded verrrry similar to the theme tune to "Steptoe and Son". Easy.

Nice amount of interest.

By the way- I think that the bike is on the front cover of PULSE because of the song, "Bike". Could be wrong, but you never know.

Cheers Lads,

Mark
