| Re: Pink Floyd Fan Music Recommendations Byron, If you didn't know, We Talk about the Gabriel era Genesis (1967-1975) which produced Pieces Like Supper's Ready, Fountian of Salamacis, Dancing With the Moonlit Knight, The Musical Box, The Cinema Show, Firth of Fifth, In the cage etc. and NOT the Phil collins Lead "Jesus He Knows Me" Genesis from the Late 80's and early 90's. as for the 1976-1983 period, It's Subjective to the fan. Most REAL genesis Fans like it UP to 1977. But can enjoy some material up to 1981/3 as well. BTW, After Phil Left Genesis In 1996, they recruited a young Scottish Singer named Ray wilson and a young Israeli Drummer named Nir Zidkiyahu and released the album "Calling All Stations".

| Re: Pink Floyd Fan Music Recommendations Yes. Ray used to go out with a bird I was working with (doing, of all things, hairdressing), so I met him a few times. He's alright. Had a mullet though. Anyway, Cheers, Mark

| Re: Pink Floyd Fan Music Recommendations WEll It Flopped In the USA But NOT In Europe, where It relatively Succeeded. The Flop in the USA was In the "Gratitude" of Atlantic records, which didn't promoted the album, Because there was No Phil, so Many people didn't know it came out. Same thing here in Israel. People never Even heard of Ray. That's the ugly face of the record industry today. I miss the days of the Charisma Label.

| Re: Pink Floyd Fan Music Recommendations Actually, although I took the piss with yer Kate Bush comment, I'd have to concur that Peter Gabriel is pretty good. To be honest though, all I own is 'Passion', the Last Temptation of Christ OST, but i6t's a tremendously stirring, atmospheric record. Also, the stuff he did with Nusrat Feteh Ali Khan (Which you can hear a small snatch of on the NBK OST) is equally fantastic. Cheers, Mark
