I haven't progressed very far in my flute skills, but I'm working on it. I think I've figured out about 4 notes so far!

What brand is your reel-to-reel, DH? I've been looking into getting one myself.

I've got a 70's era TEAC. They were top of the line back then. And pretty expensive now if you look to get one on e-bay. Got mine for free from a friend who wanted to clear out his basement.

Along with it came about 100 reels. Including a reel with Meddle, ummagumma, and atom heart mother.

Sweeet!

That's cool. TEACs are good, I've heard. But you're right, they can cost quite a bit.

I do a lot of gigging, so I've spent a lot of money on my amp heads and cabs.

Guitars:
Samick - Ultramatik Gary Bennett Design - I hate this guitar. Don't buy it.
Peavey - Raptor Plus (Fat Strat design) - this guitar has saved my ass at a few gigs.
Ibanez SZ - not much to say about this, I picked this one up as a replacement for my Samick and it sounds a lot better, but still not my guitar of choice.
Epiphone - Les Paul Sunburst. Just got it a month or so ago, I also played a Gibson Les Paul... I didn't notice much difference in the way it plays, except the Epiphone one was a tad lighter and a helluva lot cheaper.
Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Strat - this is my baby. Never broken down, beautiful tone, moves fast. AAAAND I didnt' have to pay for it. Birthday present from my girlfriend last year.

Acoustics:
Takamine G530S - Beautiful tone.
Alvarez RD20S12 - My twelve string. I wouldn't trade this guitar for the world. Beauty.

Bass:
Ibanez SRX505 - My only bass. It's a 5 string, not a whole lot to be said. Great bass, but nothing amazing.

Amplifiers:
-Guitar:
Line 6 Spider II HD
150 Watts, 12 amp models, tons of built in effects. Great verb too. (yes, this is a head)
-Bass:
Peavey TNT 115
1 15" speaker - 150 watts (i think, lol). Love it.
Effects Pedals:
Digitech RP200A - Freaking Amazing
Digitech BP80 - Again, Amazing.

That's all.

My Gear:
- Fender Mexican Strat (often referred to as the "Tacocaster").
- Squier Affinity Strat, 25th anniversary model.
- Ibanez Intercity Acoustic guitar, Talman model.
- Levin classical guitar (nylon strings). Pretty good guitar, actually.

Amps:
- King crap himself: Squier Champ 15W. Has been handled pretty tough, and sounds like..... sounds bad. New amp coming soon...

Effects:
- Boss CS-3
- Marshall JH-1 Jackhammer
- Digitech RP50. Not bad at all, but the delay sucks... And the tuner is wierd... :P

Other stuff:
- Good cables (StraightA, Klotz)
- Jim Dunlop picks
- Various gigbags and a hardcase.

Bought a Fender Super Reverb amplifier today, a '65 re-issue. From the looks of it, it's the last amp I'll ever buy.

-Four 10" vintage-design Jensen speakers.
-Reverb and Fender vibrato (tremelo), both of which are luscious.
-40 watts output (although Fender quoted that figure conservetively; it pushes near on 80-100 watts [that is, it matched or was louder than my brother's 100w Stage 100 setup]).
-All tube electronics (it breaks into a lovely tube overdrive around 5 or 6)!

It's a good, solid amplifier, loud as hell, and is a Fender... I don't know what else someone could want in an amp.

My gear is kinda sucky.

Guitar:
Squire Stratocaster (Black)
(I wanna get a custom tele fmt. That's a SWEET guitar. It plays great and has 2 humbucker pickups)

Amp:
FM 65R. It's a pretty decent amp. The overdrive on it sounds great.

Effects:
Crybaby wah. Don't really use it all that much.

And I just looked up the 65 super reverb... that is one sweet amp!
