The Coen Brothers

The Coen brothers have made some pretty good movies, which one is your favorite? My choice was between Barton Fink and The Man Who Wasn't There....I ended up going with The Man Who Wasn't There because it was in Black and White and it's always cool when people do movies in black and white when they could be done in color.

They are coming out with a new movie soon called, "The Ladykillers" it should be good.

These guys are currently my favorite filmmakers. I am in the process of collecting all their films on DVD. As for my fave.. it's currently O' Brother, Where Art Thou...


Damn..We're in a tight spot!

It's the same for me.
The Man Who Wasn't There and The Big Lebowski are very good too.

Tough choices! I was really torn between "O Brother..." and "Blood Simple". The soundtrack was what gave "O Brother..." a slight edge.

The Big Lebowski is genius. One of my favourite movies ever, gotta love The Dude.

Blood Simple or Fargo....however I haven't heard of 'oh brother' so I'm quite intrigued to see it.

I haven't seen it either, it's supposed to be quite good.

oh it is...it's based on Homer's The Oddysey.
It's between Fargo, The Big Lebowski and Oh, Brother for me...meh

Gotta love Hudsucker Proxy and Raising Arizona, especially dream sequence at the end of the latter movie.

This was easy: Oh, Brother--but a 2 way tie for second between Raising Arizona and Fargo.

I just watched Intolerable Cruelty for the third time. The first time I was highly dissapointed, the second I liked it and this time I loved it. Although I still stand by Raising Arizona as my first choice I have to rate Intolerable Cruelty as one of my favourite all time film.

The Big Lebowski for me. Like Lars said, it's genius.
