Smile Guitar Fx

Just wondering what guitar pedal to buy for around £200. I bought a digitech RP 200a the other day but it broke and i took it back. Im really looking for something with more weird sounds instead of a lot of distortion.Cheers

Welcome to you both, glad you've joined us.

I have an RP200a, and I love it. Maybe you just got a faulty unit?
I've had mine almost a year now and it does a great job.

To be honest I have not messed about with Behringer Amps. I'd like to, from all I have been able to read and find out from others they make a great amp.

I don't see why the Behringer V-amp2 wouldn't or couldn't be used to play Dave's goodies. I suppose a lot would be decided by what you put between the axe and the amp (effects and what not).

Gotta love them Digitechs. They destroy your amp over time though.

All effects do to some extent or another.

Youve probably said it before but what sort of effects does he use? I know he uses a little echoe.

I have a Zoom 707II, and I can't fault it to be honest, it cost me 200 quid, and for that money, it's on the money.

Korg ToneWorks Ax1500G multi-processor. I payed $300 USD for it new, but they've dropped down to $200 USD now, which is a great deal.

Korg Toneworks AX1500G Modeling Signal Processor

It's made of stainless steal, and is seemingly indestructible to the torture I've accidently forced on it. But as for amp and cabinet modeling, it's great! Has quite a few freaky effects to add: 4 different types of Phaser, 2 types of Chorus, 2 types of Univibe, Ringmod, Vox wah, Traveling Wah, Simulated (pedal controlled) talkbox, pitch bender, auto wah, filtron, and on and on. It has TONS. Right/Left channel stereo output, along with mono. Stereo effects that sound AWESOME when you have 2 amps hooked to it. Tons of delay and reverb. I could go on forever! Just go to the link, and see for yourself.

I have a Digitech RP100, and I get all kinds of crazy sounds. It was only 120$ US, it's probably cheaper now though.
