I just wanted to thank you, the fellow forum-goers. Through discussion about music and such, I have been driven to buy 3 very very good albums based on what's been said here (Ok Computer, The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, The Sky Moves Sideways). They are all such great albums! Those have also lead me to get Tresspass, Foxtrot, and The Bends, great albums themselves! Thanks guys!

woah wait, people promote porcupine tree on this site?! I haven't seen much about them at all here. I LOVE pt. You should check out their album Signify if you want a little heavier, less ambient album than sky moves sideways, although there are still very ambient parts. If you're into the long instrumental stuff get Up the Downstair. In Absentia is their newest album, and you could probably find it at best buy. It won't sound much like sky moves sideways though. They've definitely turned to a lyric based band now. Its not instrumental based, ambient stuff anymore, but its still very proggy and great music. I think every album from here on out will always have at least one experimental ambient track.
