welcome to the light side.

Re: Abbey road or sgt pepper?

I heard Dark side in oct of 2001 was a spectacular felling, no doubt. Since I was a child i was a really beatles fan but stop listening for almost 15 years and I never heard Abbey Road, I bought just for fun and let me tell till this day I never have such strong felling for something and then I realize that Abbey Road was the best album I ever listened in my life, sorry folks

Re: Abbey road or sgt pepper?

On the whole, I'd say Abbey Road is a better album, but it is all personal preference.

Re: Abbey road or sgt pepper?

I have a very strong personal connection to many of the songs on Sgt. Pepper; Within You Without You is a perfect creation and an "uncanny masterpiece" to borrow a phrase from Pete Townshend. However Abbey Road trumps it for sheer musical craftsmanship and consistent likability. In fact, Revolver is probably the best of the three, but Abbey Road beats Pepper by quite a bit.

Re: Abbey road or sgt pepper?

I would go with sgt.pepper but thats just my personal preference. I'd say see which album has more songs you like. Revolver is also a good choice.

That's just sad.

I like Abbey Road more, although A Day In The Life is my favorite Beatles song.

I'd say Abbey Road, but I think the White Album is a freaking masterpiece.
