In the third stanza I believe it is, that starts with "Hey you Whitehouse...", when Roger starts the line of "You've got to stem the evil tide", I always thought that "you" was incredibly freaky. It's like his soul is getting sucked out through his mouth! :o It's rather disturbing, but it's a great song, and I do agree that it has amazing guitar. It was interesting to see on the PULSE video during Keep Talking how David does that amazing effect with that mouthpiece he also used on Pigs to recreate pig vocalisations. I knew he used some kind of mouth device but I never knew it was like that.....that effect makes the song IMO.

I'd have to say my favorite is Comfortably numb also.. What I love about Pink floyd guitar solos, is that it almost seems as if they are telling a story...listening to the whine of Gilmore's guitar, the way he puts things together, just gives me that impression. A few other favorites (sorry, it is hard to choose) would be Hendrix, LedZ, Stevie....

meddling echo, he uses a thing called a talk box in Keep Talking & Pigs, which is just basiclly a mouth wah pedal with a few differences. The shape of davids mouth is what decides the sound. But, I agree its really cool. Incredibly difficult to use though. You need great coordination.

Unless you count Rog and Friends at Hershey in 99, that was amazing. Otherwise it is pretty boring fluff. |

He has a wife, you know... (IMHO - hands down the funniest scene from any movie ever made. John Cleese cracks me up in that scene)

John Cleese could make watching paint dry hilarious. Its just him. I mean, he is the man behind the greatest comic creation ever in Basil Fawlty.
