Has this ever happened to you?

All the time! What's really kind of funny but embarrassing is when I'm listening to a CD with headphones and I'm always thinking someone might be calling me, usually if it's a live CD since there's so much noise in the audience or if I hear a noise outside the headphones that I'm not sure of, and I yell "WHAT!?" "NOTHING!"
But heck, I 'space out' when I'm eating food. I usually have the tendency to stare at the food as I'm eating it. I don't know why, I guess it's just an analytical thing, but sometimes it's embarrassing.

What has happened to me on many occassions though is when I would be in bed or something and I'm thinking of putting on a Floyd song or I'm thinking of a song and it... Comes on the radio That has happened with WYWH many times. Once I was also listening to an album and when I turned on the radio afterwards the song was on.

and if I changed stations, it would be on the other station as well. Once had Comfortably Numb come on 3 successive radio stations, selected by random...or was it....spooky!

I don't want to derail the thread, but since the subject of radio station weird-assery is in the air(Teehee, get it, in the air?)...

Down here in South Florida there are a lot of Spanish/Haitian(French Language) radio stations and I once heard Stairway, a very warped tape as well, playing on one. What was also really strange was how it wasn't even a classic rock radio station.

Sorry about that, just felt like mentioning it.

This happened to me on the bus today. I was listening to ITAOT? - The Wall Live and was on Waiting For The Worms. The girl in front of me was trying to get me to pass a piece of paper back to the person behind me, and I was just completely out of it. It took me like 5 minutes to notice her there. I've got the rest of the week planned out though.

Thur morning: PATGOD
Thur afternoon: Animals
Fri morning: AMLOR

Was the somebody knocking on your door freaked too? My stereo was loud enough to hear out side the first time I ever heard Eugene Pompeii style - and it definitely freaked my neighbors out.

Yeas, it DOES happen to me., specially when I listen to "The happiest days of our lives". That song is very special for me, I love it.

It also happens to me when I listen to "In the flesh".

There is a new discovery that music that you like can stimulate sexual hormones... it basically comes from our Ansestors (Apes)... The study was started basically because Apes shout in their partners ears whenever they have sex... soooo .... the latest study proves that good music (Music that you like) stimulates a particular something near the ear... which releases sexual hormones... Now thats something isn't it...

Our bus driver doesnt give a damn what we listen to on the bus. Nothing like led zeppelin 4 to start out your morning on the bus, or whish you were here
