Why??

Can anyone tell me what the reasoning behind the director not including Hey You and Nobody Home in The Wall movie? I noticed that neither of these songs were included in the film and I wondered if there was any specific reasoning behind this. I've looked around and read that they had filmed a scene for Hey You, but then couldn't find out anything further. Anyone know WHY it wasnt included??

Re: Why??

"Nobody Home" is in the movie, actually -- you might be thinking of "The Show Must Go On", which isn't. They cut "Hey You" to make the film more digestible to audiences. Roger talks about it on the DVD.
