I noticed that there is a (incomplete) discography of Pink Floyd in the new Blender music magazine. The two page spread has no surprises: The wall, WYWH and DSOTM are given 5 stars while AHM, Ummagumma and The Final Cut only 2. I didn't agree with all the reviews but it did seem like a nice starting reference for new Pink floyd Fans. It also briefly reviewed Pompeii, About Face, Amused to Death and Nick Schaffner's book (accurately). I've been pleased with blender so far for these types of articles and reviewing all kinds of music, not just what would be suitable for mass consumption. I certainly recomend it... The Floyd article is in Issue 2.

Nah- it's cool. It shouldn't be too hard to pick up.

Cheers,

Well fixxy, if you DO manage to pick it up, please let me know.

London is just SO provincial.

Waterstones might be good bet, Byron. Or maybe the Virgin Megastore on Oxford street might have it.

Yes, London IS provincial, but at least wherever you are, you can pretty much find whatever you need (or want).

Cheers,

Mark

That's a bummer that Blender didn't review much of Pompeii and only gave UmmaGumma 2 stars. I didn't think you got blender anyway? hahaha

I think Percy would agree with the 2 stars thing.

and only the live album's worth much of anything (Besides one or two)

I don't know why you all don't like Ummagumma so much. Actually I understand why you do, but wish you didn't. I like it so much. How can you resist "Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered In A Cave And Grooving With A Pict"? The only thing that wasn't that great in my opinion was Nick's section, "The Grand Vizier's Garden Party" or something like that.

I've never read that magazine, but I've heard it mentioned.
