Re: Creed anyone?

Don't get me wrong, floyd is still my favorite!

But assuming most of you appreciate good lyrics, I asked.

Re: Creed anyone?

I will admit that in the current drought of lyrically-driven music Creed is an oasis. But they don't stack up to some of the greats from the past, like Dylan, The Eagles, Nirvana (yes they actually sang words even if it didn't seem like it at the time), The Doors, Paul Simon (not my cup of tea, but still a good poet in his own way) or even Floyd.

But compared to the choices out there today, Creed would be in my top five, but that might change since I haven't checked out fixx's Sugar Rios yet.

To edit your signature, here's what you do:

Just under the Reply button, you should find something that says [Edit Profile]. Click that, give it your ID and password, and from there, you can change your signature.

Hope that helps!

Re: Creed anyone?

Creed is awesome. Higher is my favorite song period. though they will never make an album as good as floyd they will have more than a couple of singles that are just as good or better than the great floyd songs. But don't get me wrong, floyd is still and always will be #1

Re: Creed anyone?

I really enjoy What If, also. I think its different from their other songs. I think they just said " Hey lets make a really heavy song but lets not make it sound like death metal rubbish." and they did a really nice job.

I also want to thank you guys for the solid album comment. I do believe that they are still lacking a solid album. It's true that they have four hits an album, but the other songs make me want to question them.

That really makes you wonder what a concept album could do for that band! When you write lyrics like Scott Stapp (Creed) and that guy from staind, you really got to consider a concept album.

And I really have to consider learning good grammer! (sorry)

Creed? No thanks. I'll stick to my good music that is not sickening in my mind.

Re: Creed anyone?

That was almost funny.

The only thing thats similar is Eddie Vedders voice and Scott Stapps voice.
Otherwise, different musical styles.

Re: Creed anyone?

Creed is terrible. All I can say is hey, go push your religion somewhere else. Kinda like P.O.D.

Re: Creed anyone?

Oh thank you, thorin13. Ive been waiting this whole forum to see that someone else realizes that Creed is a RIPOFF of Pearl Jam. The only differences are: Scott Stapp thinks he's some kind of god, have you seen the video to 'sacrifice' or crapifice, whatever its called. Eddie Vedder never put himself in skin-tight leather pants and a wifebeater shirt, walked out on stage, and let the crowd suck his cock while calling him God did he? I know I'm going overboard, but people need to understand, Creed blows. They always will blow. If you ever get a chance to watch Behind the Music on Creed, do so. You'll see how hard it was for them to get famous...er, a sign from GOD maybe??? "Look here, Creed, dont do this, Im in charge of the end of the world, not you and your music."---God, quoted.
