Question Help! Which Led Zep song?

A friend at another forum needs help finding a Led Zep song. These are the clues he gave us...

Quote:
I have heard this Led Zeppelin song a few times and have no idea what the name of it is. I also can not remember any of the Lyrics but, what sets the song apart from others is the fact that there is a very strange kind of interlude in it.

In about the middle of the song or so, there is kind of a little vocal-interlude-sort-of-strange-thing going on, almost like a little vocal duet, rather silly actually, but neat nonetheless. Then, soon after it is right back into a heavy guitar riff and pounding drums.

I do not think it is Whole Lotta Love. I have that one and it is not the one I am thinking of. I think it might be off one of the later albums, like Physical Graffiti or Coda or something. The interlude is really strange; all the music stops and all you hear is a silly..."Lah-daah-dad-da-da-dah-dah" a couple of times and then back into a heavy guitar riff and pounding drums. I think it is a good song and I would like to find out what album it is on so I can pick it up.

Re: Help! Which Led Zep song?

It's "the ocean" off the houses of the holy album (my personal favorite zep album)...the "la de dah" part gives it away....I was thinking it might be "in the evening" until I read all of his post.

Re: Help! Which Led Zep song?

yes, get the remasters, then start off with I, II, III, IV, then you're good to go for the rest.
I think II was the first one i got, amazing album.
