| Re: does anyone know why roger used the same melody so many times on pros and cons? I am an ardent fan of P&C only because of the ClaptonWaters Live show. It was fan-blooming-tastic, to say the least and I fondly remember his strange dream-album. Floyd on!

 meaningless... why is there any question about roger or about david? this site congregates the full band, not only a particular member. one must agree that they where better together and they could only reach where they did as a band! the significance atributed to Pink Floyd can only be understanded in the entire universe of it. i'm not contesting that each one has his one peculiar touch on the band, but is that single touch with all the others that made the band what it is!!!greetings for everyone |

Anyway, back to the original question: I've heard lots of people say Roger can't write melodies, but I don't know. I like the recurring theme throughout the album (and it's a technique often employed by Clapton). Anyway, I have since bought Radio KAOS and Amused To Death. I love Roger's solo work.
