Roger Waters solos - how is the guitar?

I have never heard any of Roger's solo albums, but I have heard a lot of good things about them. I was wondering if they have good guitar work in them like Pink Floyd (even after Roger left) is known for thanks to Dave. Did he hire any amazing guitarists for the albums. Or does he focus mainly on the song writing. I would like to buy some of his albums - if any have some amazing guitar work on them. Thanks!

I don't know guys, I thought the guitar work on ATD was pretty damn good. Jeff Beck's stuff doesn't sound as skillful as Clapton's but I love Beck's tone on ATD. Especially on songs like "What God Wants, part 3".

Yes, indeed. Personally i like ATD over P&C. One of the reasons is Jeff's guitar, but it's a matter of taste 'course, and that i don't discusse.
