By choice or is it some kind of uncontrollable compulsion?

An uncontrollable choice maybe?

It would be a bit awkward if you were doing 80mph up the motorway when it came on.

Ha, I mean like I'll pull up to a restaraunt or something, it'll come on and I won't have time to sit there and listen to it. It's never came on in another situation.

Re: Why is Roger so bitter towards Dave?

I think there are some very good reasons for the two men to be bitter towards each other. Still, it kind of makes me sad that Dave and Roger can't just get on with it. I'm not necessarily talking about a reunion tour, but I think it would be terrible to hold a grudge for that long. Whatever the reasons were in the beginning, they seem rather insignificant now.

You heard the news? The two men are in "pretty amicable terms" these days.

Well Roger is selfish, and a bit a of a prick.

But if what he says is true in the interview Botley posted above, then he has reason to be.

But he still is a sh!tty bass player lol.

Re: Why is Roger so bitter towards Dave?

Rog always manages to grab the victim seat and whine about how badly done to he was.

But, that's pretty much human nature.

Now THAT was a phrase I could've gone all day without hearing/reading...

And thanks for posting the interview, Botley - it was quite interesting. Doesn't look hopeful for a reunion, I must say...but maybe that's for the best. *sigh*

Re: Why is Roger so bitter towards Dave?

.....I think he's somewhat justified in feeling bitter. The post waters floyd did well because of the power of the name...he's right about that. And he was the creative genius behind the band. At the same time, though, life's too short to go on fighting forever....it's a shame and a waste of talent that they couldn't continue working together.

Re: Why is Roger so bitter towards Dave?

Yeah, it's too bad Roger and Dave couldn't go on one last tour-- a billiards tour! It would be like Abbott and Costello. Roger would pull out all the great shots and Dave would just go through the motions and shrug as if to say, "oops, im not that good". Can you imagine the laughs?
