Welcome, and worry not about "newbieish quaestions"... how else you gonna learn?

Waters sings Hey You...

I'd say the vocal responsibilities were about 50/50 actually..

Welcome to the site! As you've seen already, it's a tremendous resource for increasing your Floydian knowledge. Just for future reference: On the main page of this site, there are links to info about albums, including lyrics and who sung what. Quite handy, if I may say so...

Oh yeah, and if you haven't been warned, people here are very sensitive to DDTs (Dreaded Duplicate Threads). It's easily avoided if you just do a search for whatever it is you are considering posting about.

I always find Roger's voice in the final verse to be right on the limit, whereas when you hear Richard Wright singing that part on Pulse it sounds effortless (or was it Guy Pratt? Sounds like Wright to me).

Whichever, it was a much stronger voice - Roger sounds weak on Hey You.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a list of who played and sang which bits on every Floyd song? I'm sure fragments of such things exist and there may be a few bits scattered around this forum but does anyone know or have a definitive list?

Ta.

The answer is Jon Carin. See http://www.pinkfloydfan.net/showthre...ighlight=carin

Dave did. But then, he compiled it after all!

Dave - 7
Roger - 6
Syd - 4
Roger and Dave - 3
Dave and Richard - 2
Syd and Richard - 1
Nick - 1
Clare Torry - 1
