Part of a Tradition!

So, this is it. My final year in school before i am off to the great Uni (or work, or nothing, etc, etc) My life is a mess of paths to be conducted, choosen, regretted, fear, loath and love.
But, NOT YET! In norway we have a tradition. And, not wanting to write an article about it, i'll simply paste one from the newspapers. Which ofcourse means that all the negative is being pressed, none of the positive. Which is the medias way of earning money, their practise of "guardianship" against youths, and the regular placing idea in naive people's head.

What they always forget is that they've been there themselves, they have acted alike, they have acted worse, and they have acted better. Ofcourse, asking the media to try to understand that every partaking in a festival, or tradition is individual, and when some people acts like idiots, we're all idiots.
Now, i agree, alot of people really act like idiots when partaking in the Russ Celebration. But, they only reflect their personality, their stupidity and their ignorance, no use to ruin it for us.
But, not all media is "that bad"... so, i'll try to find some links that show the fun in the celebration as well, although i doubt i'll find one.

(some pictures)

what they tend forget though, is all the social moments, where we sit down by the sea, or somewhere high, sharing food and beers under the clear blue sky, or the sunset, talking, listening to music. Having a really really good time, knowing that we have passed 13 year of school, following rules and orders and listeing to adults all day.
It lasts from 1.st to the 17th of May (17th of may being our National Day)
So, any comments at all on this tradition, anyone experienced the same, anyone who likes the concept.
Just remember that the media only concentrates on the extreme cases and such. Try to picture what you would do in a 17 day long party knowing that almost every kid your age in the country is experiencing the same festival in their own way.
