| Re: The New CD Thread well umm, i got this cd by costa rica hard rock band called evolucion its pretty awesome but i cant understand what they are sayign because i dotn speak spanish XC and i also got greenday's american idiot which is ok but its a bit too poppy for me.

| Re: The New CD Thread Sonic Youth - Dirty It's good. A more approachable 'commercial' side to Sonic Youth. Maybe a little predictable, compared to most of their other stuff, but it has some great moments. Kim Gordon sings a lot and goes over the top as always. |

| Re: The New CD Thread Got used copies of Pete Townshend's "Psychoderelict" and Nine Inch Nail's "The Downward Spiral". Listening to the first one now...very interesting. It's going to have to grow on me, but I know it will. Haven't listened to NIN yet, but I will later tonight.

| Re: The New CD Thread Blueberry Boat by the Fiery Furnaces is awesome!! It sounds like an Indie-rock version of the Residents doing a Who-style rock opera, and it's amazing. Of course it sounds weird, but it's very different from the rock band "flavors of the month" that's trendy and cool to like. |
