I love Americana! The offspring kicks ass.

Pretty Fly for a White Guy (though it seemed like a good song at age 12) was a shite song.. and got TOTALLY overplayed.

Re: The New CD Thread

Three little gems came in the mail today:

Us - Peter Gabriel:
Amazing album, it's one of those rare albums that needs no getting into. Every track i liked instantly, i'm still having troubles getting into 4/Security. Us is already my favorite Gabriel album.

The Very Best Of Cream - Cream:
Even though i'm not too fond on compilations. I decided to order this album, and it's amazing. I wanted to get a Cream album after hearing some of their songs. and i somehow got the feeling this album would do. And i still think it does.

Stand Up - Jethro Tull:
Excellent early Tull album. They were still working on their progressive sound at this stage. And this album is not really progressive. But still very good and tracks like Reasons For Waiting and Look Into The Sun are just beautiful.

That was it for today.

Actually got this a while back, but...

Interpol's newest, 'Antics'.

Kickass album. Evil is by far my favourite track.

Re: The New CD Thread

After discovering most of Supertramp's catalogue last year, I decided to pick up the remastered version of Roger Hodgson's In The Eye of The Storm album at a used CD shop.

I've been listening to it non-stop all week. Sure Hodgson's music can be poppy, but it's not just pop rock crap like some people think. Anyone else have this one?
