Greetings to all from my holidays!

Was in the said café yesterday and, horror of horrors, they weren't even playing Floyd.

Aghast and desperate, I requested WYWH and got the whole thing played while enjoying the unique Amsterdam atmosphere

Deep joy!

A personal visit is highly recommended.

Best wishes to all.

Floyd on!
Byron

Any chance of bringing me back one of those "I need Pink Floyd Cafe" stickers Byron? I used to have one but unfortunately, it stayed on in my old flat...

It'd be totally cool if you could.

Cheers,

Mark

Ps- With regards to customs- "I wouldn't."

Crikey! :o

Over a year gone and I am still plugging this coffee shop, and that without a single back-hander (US=bribe).

I must be mad.

If they aren't playing any, just go up to the bar and ask the nice barrista if they have your favourrite. They might even have footage of your favourite Floyd sounds.

They didn't have any Floyd playing when last I visted but they put WYWH on at my humble request and I stayed for the whole thing. Such nice folk.

Not really all that known in Amsterdam besides The Floyd Coffeeshop and a few others, but Amsterdam is shite anyway here in Breda I can strongly recommend my favourite coffeeshop ''Het Paradijs''(The Paradise) the music is always good often classic rock and never Hiphop which means a lot to me, the people who come there are always fascinating and above all that they have some of the best coffee in town, quality garanteed.

Re: Pink Café - Amsterdam

I spent part of my last Christmas' Eve in the Pink Floyd Café in Amsterdam. Lovely time, although they didn't play any Pink Floyd - and I didn't care to ask them for it, as I though they would have grown a bit tired of it.

A lovely time nonetheless.

Re: Pink Café - Amsterdam

I suppose working there one might get hartily sick of Pink Floyd playing day in and day out, but hey it IS the Pink Floyd Café after all.

What funny smell? I never noticed any unusual or bad ordours there? Is this a new development?
