I would say that Grantchester Meadows and The Narrow Way are a tie for me.... Grantchester is so nice, and I love the Narrow Way just as well..... so, yeah.... a tie.

Grand Vizier's Garden Party. Really an awesome piece of music, some of the best I've ever heard from any band, actually. Deep and inspiring, truly excellent and vastly underrated.

...just kidding.

The fact that they really only played three tracks live(69-70) should tell you how they felt about the album.

Incase you were wondering:

They played Sysyphus live a few times(I have a live version from 70).
They Played Grantchester Meadows live during The Man & The Journey shows in 69(it was titled Daybreak). They also played it in 70.
The Narrow Way was also played in The Man & The Journey during 69.

You can add Biding My Time(Work & Afternoon) to that list too.

Embryo was supposed to be on that album as well, but they never recorded a finished version of it. Of course that song was played extensively througout 70-71.

Was that when everyone in the audience decided it would probably be a good idea to go and have a piss?

That may well be the only abbreviation in existence that's harder to remember than the whole title... I like it, too.

Roger's and Richard's tracks are deeply flawed but passable. Dave's and Nick's are pretty hard to get into. Bits of them are good but as a whole it's a mess.

In first place, The Narrow Way
In second place, Several Small......, a work of avant-garde genius!

Sysyphus for sure! The psychedelic feel of that song is what Pink Floyd was all about. Part 2 is creepy to listen to in the dark.
