Re: best solo-ist

Rick Wright.

Solo albums are usually nothing special, DG self titled is good but About Face is just useless. Waters released lots of spam except for Amused To Death which is really good. Nick is just... Nick, and Syd's works are rather good but nothing impressive. Rick released the mediocre Identity with Zee but on his own produced two albums I love, Wet Dream which is not a masterpiece but very enjoyable for sure, and Broken China which is definitely a great album.

Re: best solo-ist

I put Amused to Death on the level with some of my favorite albums of all time. It's just got an incredible ambience to go along with the markedly improved musicality of Rog. It's damn good. So, I'm going to ignore Radio KAOS and say Rog.
