Most talented besides DG

who do you guys think was the most talented musician of pink floyd besides the god that is david gilmour?

I think that nick was the most talented but his talents were more hidden especially in the post dsotm albums

Just a tad opinionated, are we? IMO, Roger in his apex was better than David at songwriting, ala "Amused To Death".

yes he is better at songwriting but he isnt as talented as david and playing theyre instrument

I say Waters, just for his songwriting. Probably the main reason I like Floyd so much. He's a god in his own right.

agree with great gig... but if you're just talking about PF biggies and their insrument playing capabilities... then i'd go for Wright... he difinately has got out some amazing solos...

But then again PIGa (TDO) makes me opt for Roger... unless BDG has played the bass on that song. welll... its an uncertain subject this...

well, i'd say Syd Barrett was the most gifted... i mean, sure, perhaps David was a better guitarist technically, that doesn't nescesarry make him the most talented... that's atleast in my opinion.

Since you ask "the most talented musician" the answer is pretty obvious, Rick Wright.

I've always considered Roger as the poet/songwriter in PF, and Dave and Rick as the musicians... So my vote goes to Rick.

Definately agree with Mad Yannis and Tarin... as Wright as the most talented musician apart from BDG.
