Will they ever re-remaster Animals?!

Does anyone have even the SLIGHTEST inkling that they may ever do a new remaster to Animals? Much in the way they've done DSOTM and Final Cut.... I would love to hear a clearer remaster, with all the animal sounds and backgrounds brought up a bit. Maybe I"m the only one.... I dunno.

Personally, I think the 1997 remaster of Animals is perfect the way it is.

Yeah, I still very much enjoy the 97 remaster, but it still sounds rather muddy compared to some of the newer stuff they've been releasing. Wish You Were Here would be a nice re-remaster as well.

I still prefer my original vinyl... I think it sounds better than the CD..

But what about your CD?

I understand re-masters are good...better sounding, etc.

Remastered? Is that the way that Pink Floyd wants it? I mean, don't you think they picked the animal sound levels at the ones they wanted? I might be interested in solos and stuff remastered, but for me, I've always been a fan of vintage sounds.

[sorta] Off topic, but my friend told me he heard that Animals was recorded in a some sort of church? I actually listened to it for the first time today, and it wasn't long. Does anyone know if they actually did record in a church?

Re: Will they ever re-remaster Animals?!

I have no clue about the church thing....

I do however agree that the vinyl pretty much ALWAYS sounds better.... especially if you have a good needle!! I constantly tell people that you have never truly heard certain albums until you hear the vinyl. The two I insist on the most are DSOTM and Santana's Abraxas.

I would just like to hear the album a bit more crystally.... I dunno why. Boredom I guess.

No. They recorded Animals at their private studios Britannia Row.

Re: Will they ever re-remaster Animals?!

But Britannia Row is a sacred place to us Floydians, so surely it could be considered church-like?
