 Erik Truffaz Anyone knows him? He's a young (or so) French jazz trumpetist. His music is not a typical jazz music though. It is more like the 1970s fusion (you know... Weather Report, Return To Forever, Mahavishnu Orchestra). I've seen him live with his quartet consisting of bassist, drummer and Fender Rhodes player (great to hear this legendary instrument!!). I've only heard his last album: The Walk Of The Giant Turtle, where he plays with this quartet and a guitarist. It's great music, check it out if you're interested in a fresh new jazz. His earlier albums include collaborations with Algerian and Morrocan musicians, which may be interesting, and some rapper (not on the same album  ), but I have not heard them yet.

| Re: Erik Truffaz Yeah, I forgot to mention the site, thanks. He posts on the forum there is. You can listen to 30s excerpts of his songs, but I don't get why it always is the beginning 30s, because that's like with the beginning of SOYCD. It does not fully demostrate the song.
