| How Popular/famous are Floyd? My little brother has taken the micky out of me for years for lovin' Pink Floyd. About 5 minutes ago he came to me and said "they are quite famous on the sly arent they?". Can anyone think of any facts, figures, stats etc to show they little techno lovin' idiot exactly how succesful they are. Thanks.  |

| Re: How Popular/famous are Floyd? Well they don't have their names or faces scrawled on the public consciousness but they've sold tens of millions of albums worldwide. It's more about their music and the images that accompany it than the band members themselves.

| Re: How Popular/famous are Floyd? I believe both Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall are on the top 25 or so of all-time album sales, at least in the United States. I would say that counts for a little something.
