| Re: Most covered song? Pipeline by The Chantays The Original is best but I like Dick Dale and Stevie Ray Vaughan's version. I also like The Lively ones version too. Last edited by Mark Dwyer; 11-01-2005 at 09:17 PM. |

"There is a house in New Orleans Not anymore...... I am thinking "Train Kept Rolling" or "Red House" "Comfortably Numb" is incredibly popular with a lot of current bands. I have about 10 copies of that on Mp 3 |

| Re: Most covered song? ^ "Hush" was recorded by brit band Kula Shaker some years back; Deep Purple also released a new souped up version of the song in the 80's featuring Ian Gillan on vocals, + there's the ancient original version by Joe South |

| The biography of Joni Mitchell says that "Both Sides Now", which she wrote in '67, was a hit by Judy Collins in '68 AND covered by something like 29 other bands and musicians before 1969. That's pretty covered. This was during the years known, of course, as the Years Of the Folk Music Scare. |
