There ARE other musicians involved. And let us not forget the "surrogate band".

IN THE FLESH:
"I've got some bad news for you sunshine, Pink isn't well, he stayed back at the hotel, And they sent us along, as a surrogate band, we're gonna find out where you fans really stand."

During the Wall performance I attended in London - way back when - there was a back-up player for each band member, two of every one.

On the night I saw them, Snowy White was the David Gilmour double (Roger later used Snowy in his Pros and Cons concert), so to answer your question: Yes.

Floyd au mur!

Even in the PULSE video, there always seems to be a second guitarist. Is Tim Renwick his name?

On the P.U.L.S.E. video there is a second guitarist. He usually did rhythm, but as I recall he did at last one of the guitar solos.

Hi all, I'm back. Not that you care...

Byron - did Snowy White play in Pros & Cons Live ? When I saw it in London, the guitarists were Eric Clapton and Tim Renwick.

Cheers

Simon

Re: Question on Pink Floyd live performances...READ ON :

Simon (Pink Pig),

Now you have me doubting my own memory.

Let's see...Snowy played with the Floyd during the Wall concert at Earl's Court.

I then went to the Milton Keynes Bowl (transl.: earthen crater left by the New Town builders) and saw him playing with the last incarnation of Thin Lizzy. He was very good.

Then the Pros and Cons concert at Wembley Arena and I'm sure Roger and Eric were playing, but perhaps I only imagined Snowy up there as well. I could well be mistaken, Pink Pig. Wouldn't be the first time.

BTW, Roger's next concert in Europe lists Snowy as one of the players.

Foolishly Floydian,
Byron

Byron - I'm sure your memory has failed you. The guitarists were Eric Clapton and Tim Renwick.

Snowy White (ex-Thin Lizzy as you rightly say) played with Roger in 1999 and 2000 with Doyle Bramhall and Andy Fairweather-Low. I saw the show and all the guitarists were excellent.

Cheers

Simon

I would just like to add that Tim Renwick does the solo for Another Brick In The Wall on the Pulse video, but i think it drags too long personally!
