I think Dave Letterman put it best when he interviewed Nick Mason a while back: "It's a wonder any of you are alive, really."

He may not be aging well due to being overweight. Don't know if Dave excercises at all but he should consider it. It's a great way to stay healthy and young. There are many 60 + year olds that are at my gym who run and lift and they look great. Just something to consider.

This thread made me laugh out loud. I have thought the same thing but if Mr. Gilmour ever reads this it's certainly with the quoted sentiment intended. He looks like an ordinary man until he picks up a guitar. Not many sights strike me with awe any more. And that would be the least of reasons I would regret not seeing him around in years to come.

I wonder if any of the band members from Floyd have ever checked out this site? I know if I was in a band I would be somewhat interested in what other people had to say about me. However, after 30+ years of being in that band I might not really care what anyone has to say at the same time.
