It has been announced by the company producing the Pulse DVD that in the stage of production they're in, there's no possible way an early copy could slip through the cracks. Every Pulse DVD that is being sold on the internet is home-made, probably sourced from a the original VHS.

I reckon that the real disc'll have some extras on it rather than just the straight VHS transfer that this appears to be.

It's painfully funny that the actual, official DVD probably got pushed back again.

I've got my hands on a "Pulse-DVD"

It's a copy tough, and in fact it looks like a copy of the VHS-release

Brain-Damage to the rescue again:

Quote:
We chatted this week to our friends at Pink Floyd Management (formerly known as EMKA), about future and upcoming releases. Whilst at the moment there are a number of details that are far from being definate, we felt that you would want to hear what there is - however brief! Certainly from the many emails we receive each week, upcoming releases are of major interest.

PULSE DVD - they are hoping that this may be released, worldwide, at some point in October. Any actual dates you may have already heard for its release are simply supposition at this stage. In terms of content, the main feature is finished, and some decisions are being made at the moment with regard to additional content to complete the package. Any DVDs you already see for sale (on, for example, online auction sites) are fakes, created from either the original VHS tapes or from laserdisc. A lot of work has been done on the official version and it should be worth waiting for! We will be speaking to PFM again shortly for an update on this project...

It is posible this is a copy of the region free DVDs EMI make and send to different parts of the world for market research/testing. Someone has slipped it out and copied it but it will have all the bugs that the final copy will have ironed out.
