| Re: Bass roger waters used? Rickenbacker 4001 bass from 1966(?) to 1968, and then Fender Precision basses afterwards, 'till The Wall. I've no idea what he plays these days. I imagine that the Fender was probably his favorite, as he'd been playing the same model for the longest. |

| Re: Bass roger waters used? I thought his bass is so ugly. I hated (let's not get technical here) that little metal thing on the body that went over the strings. I hate playin those kind. It's gets in the way! Of course, he played with a pick, and I play with my fingers but.......Oh, and that color. | Re: Bass roger waters used? As a matter of fact, Roger played two different basses on the 1999-2002 tours. They are both all-black Fender Precisions, which are actually exact replicas of the one he used on the 1977 tour. Why does he need two? So he doesn't have to re-tune the E string to D before and after Another Brick in the Wall! You'd think that he'd just hire Rick Wright to do it for him.
